Why Not I delivered a powerful full-day engagement at Westholme School, reaching over 400 students, teachers, and parents with a focus on mental resilience, self-belief, and well-being.
The day began with an inspiring keynote assembly, sharing lived experiences from elite sport and the mindset needed to navigate pressure, setbacks, and personal growth. Beyond the assembly, Why Not I worked closely with the school’s elite sports scholars, providing insight into the challenges of high-performance sport and offering practical strategies to strengthen mental resilience and identity beyond the game.
Engagement extended to teachers and parents, reinforcing a whole-school approach to mental well-being and the importance of open conversations between young people and their support networks. The day also included time spent with younger students at the Prep Academy, inspiring self-belief and planting the foundations of a strong mindset early on.
Through interactive discussions and real, relatable insights, Why Not I helped equip the Westholme community with the tools to build a culture where mental resilience is valued just as much as academic and athletic success. The impact of the day was clear, leaving students, staff, and parents with a renewed understanding of mental well-being and the power of belief in their own potential.
