Delete your account

You can request deletion of your Why Not I account and the information held in it at any time.

How to request deletion

In the app. Open the app, go to account settings, and select delete account. You'll be asked to confirm.

By email. If you no longer have the app installed, email privacy@whynoti.co.uk from the address associated with your account. Tell us your name and the organisation you're with so we can find your record.

What gets deleted

Your account, your check-in responses, your trends and patterns, and your journal entries.

What is kept

Where we are required by law to retain particular information, we keep only what is required and only for as long as it is required.

Some records may be held separately by your club or organisation under their own policies. Those belong to them rather than to us, and you would need to contact them directly about those.

How long it takes

We will acknowledge your request within five working days and complete it within 30 days.
